How to replace the Ambient Temperature Sensor on 2001 Chevrolet Corvette?

Begin sensor replacement work by disconnecting the ambient air temperature sensor electrical connector first. Start by detaching the sensor's electrical connector then remove the push-in retainer which anchors the sensor at the lower RH side of the radiator support before withdrawing the sensor. Position the sensor by placing its probe inboard direction while keeping its electrical connector at the outboard position. Secure the sensor onto the lower radiator support by installing the push-in retainer before reconnecting the electrical connector.
