Service of the hvac's automatic control assembly begins with removing the i/p accessory trim plate followed by unscrewing the HVAC Control Module retaining screws. You should detach the electrical connector from the HVAC Control Module as you carefully extract it from the i/p center support bracket before taking it out of the vehicle. Insert the HVAC Control Module back into the vehicle then join the electrical connector. Fasten the HVAC Control Module to the i/p center support bracket where retaining screws require final tightening at 1.9 n.m (17 lb in). Reinstall the i/p accessory trim plate.
