  A: Commence the Heater Core replacement by starting with hvac module removal before eliminating Heater Core outlet cover screws and panel. The following steps require removing Heater Core cover screws and the cover then discarding cavity , whistle , and permagum seals from the Heater Core cover in addition to the Heater Core outer seal from the Heater Core. The first step involves removing both the retaining clamp screw and the clamp and also the Heater Core pipe retainer clamp screw. Remove the Heater Core from its lower hvac module case while discarding each of the lower seal, center seal and upper seal and side seals. Use your fingers to open the Heater Core pipe retainer clamp at its retaining tab. To install the Heater Core pipe retainer clamp place the depression portion facing the ridge of one pipe before closing the clamp. The installation consists of mounting new Heater Core side seals , upper seal , center seal and lower seal to the hvac module case-lower before inserting the Heater Core itself. Fasten the Heater Core pipe retainer clamp screw to 1.6 n.m (14 lb in) while installing both the retainer clamp along with its screw which also needs to be tightened to 1.6 n.m (14 lb in). Apply a new Heater Core outer seal to its position before installing various seals such as cavity , whistle , and permagum onto the Heater Core cover. Secure the cover along with its screws which must be torqued to 1.6 n.m (14 lb in). Attack the Heater Core outlet cover followed by its screws and fasten them at 1.6 n.m (14 lb in) then reattach the hvac module.
