How to replace the Heater Core on Chevrolet Corvette?

The first step to replace the Heater Core involves removing the hvac module followed by discarding its hvac module assembly foam seal. Disconnect the discharge temperature management (DTM) sensors electrical connectors as well as the hvac module wiring harness retainer pin from the hvac module. The Heater Core cover wire harness retainer should be disconnected from the wiring harness next. Place the removed retainers aside for further operation. First remove heater cover screws from hvac module then pull off the attached heater cover before you can access to extract the Heater Core. The start of installation requires users to apply new foam sealings to the Heater Core while always utilizing fresh Heater Core seals. Replace the Heater Core within the hvac module next install the heater cover. Secure the heater cover screws through tightness of 1.6 n.m (14 lb in). The hvac wiring harness needs to be connected to the Heater Core cover wiring harness retainers. Then the hvac module wiring harness retainer pin should connect to the hvac module and the dtm sensor electrical connectors before installing the hvac module.
