How to replace the Blend Door Actuator (LH) on 2000 Chevrolet Impala?

To replace the Temperature Actuator (LH), first take out the left instrument panel insulator and the knee bolster. Remove the electrical connector from the temperature valve electric actuator, then unfasten the mounting bolts as well as the actuator itself. For installation, align the slots in the electric actuator driver with the flats in the temperature valve shaft. Mount the electric actuator driver at its forward end on the shaft whereby the Actuator Locating hole of the Actuator is aligning with Forward Alignment pin on HVAC module case so that the actuator driver can seat fully and the mounting holes are flush with the mounting bosses. Ideally, to the temperature actuator, mount the mounting bolts not too tight, otherwise apply a tightening of 1.5 N.m (13 lb.in). Reconnect electrical connector of the temperature actuator and reinstall knee bolster and left instrument panel insulator.
