    A: The process starts with fully lowering the door window and taking off the trim panel followed by unbowling the half water deflector and extracting the window inner belt seal. Start by tearing the rearward segment of the water deflector and unfastening the window inner belt seal. You can gain access to the lower door frame applique fastener by taking the low section of window Weather Strip out of the door frame gap before you can reach the upper run channel fastener that fulfills this function. Install the window seal into its position on the door frame after attaching the wire harness from the door trim panel. Open the window to expose a 25.4 mm (1 in) opening at the top of the aperture before removing the lower fastener of the run channel. Pull the run channel toward the floor to make space before you remove it. To install this window you need to insert the run channel through the back access hole of the door and move it upward along the window while placing the upper bracket under the door frame applique. Secure the lower fastener by tightening it to 9 n.m (80 lb in). Lower the window completely while taking enough distance from the window seal to mount the upper fastener into both door applique and run channel before making sure the Window Channel bracket rests underneath the door applique. Fasten and tighten the upper fastener to 2 n.m (18 lb in). To prevent the splaying effect when reusing a window Weather Strip pinch the flange mounting area together between your index finger and thumb starting from one end and moving to the other. The window Weather Strip must go into the door frame before adding the window inner belt sealing strip and water deflector and finally the door trim panel.
