How to replace the rear side door window channel on 2001 Buick LeSabre?

The process of replacing the rear side door window front channel begins by completely raising the window before removing the door trim panel and door module and water deflector. The lower fastener needs to be loosened first before you can remove the upper fastener that functions also as the door applique lower fastener. Bring down the window channel assembly until its upper bracket passes by the door applique before removing the front window channel from the door. Start with the top end of the front window channel when inserting it into the door followed by putting the lower fastener into its keyhole slot. Position the top front window channel segment toward the back while matching it with the bottom of the window frame before securing the upper fastener at 2 N.m (18 lb in). Integrate the lower fastener to its spot and execute tightening at 9 N.m (80 lb in). To complete the installation process you should reinstall the water deflector and door module together with the door trim panel.
