  A: Begin Wiper Arm replacement by putting wipers into the park position then remove the washer hose from the air inlet grille panel. Remove the Wiper Arm by first unscrewing its nut and removing the retaining cover. Then unscrew the Wiper Arm nut. If the Wiper Arm doesn't loosen easily, use a battery terminal puller to rock it. A battery terminal puller must be used when rocking Wiper Arm tails because they resist detachment from the pivot shaft. Rock the Wiper Arm upwards to separate it from the pivot shaft. You can then depress the Wiper Blade clip end to remove the blade from the Wiper Arm hook and pull out the hook through the Wiper Blade opening. Put the Wiper Blade opening through the arm hook and push the hook onto the retaining clip until it locks in place while the wiper system stays in park to protect against damages. Activate the wiper system and confirm park position by turning the wiper control switch to off. Next, use a wire brush to clean the wiper transmission pivot shaft knurls.
