Bearing only the front disc j55 needs a tire and wheel removal before replacement begins. The flexible brake hose requires protection through mechanic wire to prevent leakages when you separate the brake caliper from its mounts. Unwind the brake caliper unit first then separate the brake caliper from its bracket and keep the hydraulic brake hose connected properly. Next detach the Brake Disc. It is necessary to eliminate all rust and debris from the wheel bearing surface and the Brake Disc during installation to stop brake pulsation problems. Clean both wheel bearing flange and Brake Disc surfaces with the kit j 42450-a then clean rust layer off the Brake Disc flange with the kit j 41013. Place the new Brake Disc over the wheel studs onto the wheel bearing flange and attach the Brake Caliper Bracket and brake caliper assemblies. After installation return the tire and wheel assembly back in position.
