You should first raise and support the vehicle and then take off the tire and wheel assembly to replace the rear brake hose. Make sure to wipe away dirt from the brake hose and fittings, and then screw a rubber cap or plug onto the open brake pipe fitting to keep fluid in and keep it clean. Follow up by taking off the brake pipe from the brake hose, removing the brake hose retainer with a flat-bladed tool, and gently taking the brake hose off the bracket. Unscrew the brake hose bolt from the brake caliper and then pull out the brake hose, making sure to toss the two copper gaskets that are stuck on. Put a rubber plug into the hole where the brake hose bolt comes out of the brake caliper so brake fluid does not leak. When installing, take out the rubber plug and use new copper brake hose gaskets, before putting the brake hose bolt and gaskets together. Screw the brake hose bolt into the brake caliper and tighten it to 45 nm (33 ft. Lbs.), always checking that the hose stays straight and untwisted. Put the brake hose onto the bracket and then secure it with the retainer clip again. Lift off the rubber cap or plug from the brake pipe fitting and put it on the brake hose, then tighten it to 15 nm (11 ft. Lbs.). Make sure you don't drive the car until you feel a firm brake pedal, as air in the system may result in brake failure. Once you have bled the brake caliper at the bleeder screw, put the tire and wheel back on, and lower the vehicle.
