    Q:
How to replace the front brake line on Buick Park Avenue? Posted by Customer
    A:
Start by lifting and holding your vehicle then removing its front wheel and tire. Remove any dirt or foreign material from the brake hose and pipes by properly cleaning them. Brake fluid loss and contamination in the system require you to put on a rubber cover at the brake pipe opening. Twist the brake hose away from the brake pipe fitting and put a fitting cap on it. Take out the brake hose by pushing its retainer with a flat-bladed tool before removing the bracket. Set the brake caliper aside and take off the brake hose to caliper bolt from the brake caliper while you discard the two stuck copper brake hose gaskets. Protect the brake pipe fitting with an extra cap to stop the fluid from leaking. Push a rubber plug into the brake caliper bolt opening of the brake hose before removing it. Place new copper brake hose gaskets onto the parts and link the brake hose assembly to the brake caliper after fastening the bolt at 44 nm (32 ft. Lbs.). Keep the brake hose straight when putting it into place. Connect the brake hose to its bracket using the retainer before taking off the rubber connector from the brake pipe end. Secure the brake hose fittings with 9 nm force while adding the bracket and bolt set to the strut assembly and tightening it to 13 nm. Close the Brake Line system fluid before putting back the tire and wheel assembly while lowering the vehicle.
