Start by raising and stabilizing the vehicle before taking off the tire and wheel set. Clean the rubber and metal brake system parts before installing a rubber seal to prevent fluid loss during brake hose replacement. Use a flat tool to unfasten the brake hose retainer when disconnecting the brake pipe fitting from the brake hose. Later remove the brake hose from its bracket and brake caliper. Discard the two stuck copper brake hose gaskets. Insert a rubber seal into the brake caliper bolt port to stop fluid leaks. Fit the brake hose bolt first with its gaskets and then thread it tightly into the brake caliper to 45 nm (33 ft. Lbs.). Fasten the brake hose to its bracket after checking the hose for bends. Install the brake hose retainer back into its original position. Put the brake hose into the brake pipe fitting and tighten it to 15 nm. Do not drive until reaching a solid brake pedal because air leaks will cause brake problems. Put the bleeder screw on the caliper in and put back the wheel tire assembly while lowering the vehicle.
