How to replace the rear brake calipers (J55) on 2004 Cadillac DeVille?

In order to change the rear brake caliper (J55), first, inspect the fluid level in the brake master cylinder reservoir; if it is halfway between maximum-full point and minimum allowable level, there is no fluid to remove, but if it is above, bring it back to the halfway point. Lift and support the vehicle, and then take out the tire and wheel assembly. With a large sonton c-clamp, apply pressure on the Brake Caliper Piston forcing it into the caliper bore and provide room to slide off the brake rotor. Upon removing the c-clamp, disconnect the brake hose to caliper bolt and plug the openings to avoid fluid flow and contamination, then remove the brake hose and discard the two copper brake hose gaskets. After that, you should remove the brake caliper pin bolts and the brake itself. If using the re-used retainers and sleeves then you should clean them using denatured alcohol and lubricating them with a thin coat of hi temperature silicone lube before putting the brake caliper over the brake pads in the bracket. For the brake caliper pin bolts, tighten them 31 nm (23 ft. Lbs.), then remove plugs at the brake hose end and install new copper brake hose gaskets. Mount the brake hose bolt with the new gaskets and install it on the brake work caliper and tighten it at 45 nm (33 ft. Lbs.). Bleed the brake system by, while with the engine off, slowly apply the brake pedal to about 2/3 of its travel distance and proceed to release it slowly. Wait for 15 seconds, and then do it again and again until the brake pedal becomes firm, it means make sure to firmly seat in the brake caliper pistons and the brakes. Lastly, reinstall the tire and wheel assembly and bring the vehicle down.
