Start by selecting the appropriate pipe and steel fitting nuts according to the outside measurement of the tube. Use a hack saw to cut square-shaped brake pipe to its required length moving the tool slowly forward without exerting pressure on it. Determine the length of the old pipe then add 3.2mm (0.125inch) to the measurement for every ISO flare fitting. Before flaring apply the fittings then use a de-burring tool to chamfer both the interior and exterior pipe surfaces. Insert the forming mandrel through the J 29803-A and place it in a vise.
