How to replace the front brake caliper bracket (J55) on 2001 Cadillac DeVille?

Replace the front Brake Caliper Bracket j55 by first taking off the caliper and hanging it with heavy mechanic's wire while keeping the hydraulic brake flexible hose connected. To proceed disassemble the Brake Caliper Bracket first by unbuttoning the brake pads and retainers from their brackets then removing the bracket bolt and ultimate bracket from the Steering Knuckle. Carefully remove all rust and junk from the Brake Caliper Bracket using a wire brush to check for damage and cracks before replacing it with a new unit. Before installing the caliper bracket onto your Steering Knuckle apply loctite(R) dri-loc 201 product (GM part number 12345493) or its equivalent to caliper bracket bolt threads. Thread and tighten the caliper bracket bolt to 246 nm using a torque wrench. Apply silicone brake lube to the caliper pin bolts before placing the Brake Pad retainers and brake pads onto the Brake Caliper Bracket and placing the caliper.
