How to replace the LH automatic transmission mount, Motor And Transmission Mount on 2001 Cadillac Seville?

Start by elevating and stabilizing the vehicle then use a suitable jack to support the powertrain assembly. Start by loosening the transmission mount nut installed on the transmission mount bracket. Lower the jack so the engine can descend. The bolt and nut must be taken out first before removing the mount from its frame location. Then secure the mount's placement with 2 nuts before removing the mount . The installation process begins by mounting the hardware before attaching the mount bolt along with the mounting hardware onto the frame structure while keeping the nut torque to 70 Nm (52 ft. lbs.). Lift the engine and transmission assembly into place before securing the mount and mount bracket with the nut while torquing it to 75 Nm (55 ft. lbs.). Once finished lower the vehicle after removing the engine assembly support jack.
