How to replace the rear Motor and Transmission Mount on 2002 Cadillac Seville?

Vehicle elevation by supports followed by automatic transmission mount change operations. Place an appropriate mounting jack under the engine assembly and remove the mounting nuts connecting the transmission mount to its bracket. Lift the engine assembly off the engine frame with gentle jack movement while removing bolts that secure the mount to the frame followed by the single nut which secures the mount to the frame. Remove the mount . Start with mount installation according to the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions. Fasten the mount through bolts and a nut while using a torque wrench to tighten both fasteners to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.). Position the transmission in this location before you securely fasten the mount nut against the mount bracket and mount at 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.). To finish the process remove the support jack and let the vehicle drop to the ground.
