Begin by installing the Control Arm Bushing receiver (J 39874) onto the lower Control Arm Bushing screw (J 21474-3). After facing the sealed end of j 39874 toward the head of the screw, use it to remove the lower Control Arm rear bushing from the lower Control Arm. You should install Control Arm Bushing receiver (J 39874) through lower Control Arm Bushing screw (J 21474-3) with sealed j 39874 end facing screw's head. Thread lower Control Arm Bushing screw (J 21474-3) from front to back through the Control Arm Bushing, through the Control Arm, then into the small end of the lower Control Arm Bushing receiver (J 39931). After installing j 21474-3 through the Control Arm Bushing put on the thrust washer with its seam facing the Control Arm space then bolt the lower Control Arm Bushing nut (J 21474-4) onto j 21474-3 by positioning all components correctly. Tightening j 21474-3 produces a popping noise as the Control Arm Bushing becomes removable. To assemble the lower Control Arm secure it in a vise while using j 21474-3 to pass through the small end of j 39931. Install j 21474-3 through the new rear bushing before leading it through the rear lower Control Arm's closed end. Use the small end of the Control Arm Bushing receiver (J 21474-5) to position on j 21474-3 before putting the thrust washer on j 21474-3 with its seam oriented toward the Control Arm. Secure the tools against the bushing and Control Arm so the j 39931 window points straight upward while maintaining visibility. Secure the lower Control Arm Bushing nut (J 21474-4) onto j 21474-3 while turning until the rubber protrusion reaches j 39931 then tighten another quarter inch and reinstall the lower Control Arm.
