Insert the lower Control Arm Bushing screw (J 21474-3) via the Control Arm Bushing receiver's (J 21474-6) large opening so it reaches the front bushing before passing through the open end of lower Control Arm Bushing receiver (J 39876). Next place the half moon spacer (J 39875) on the outside of the bushing to stop metal deformation during bushing removal while maintaining proper alignment between all tools and the front bushing and Control Arm. Tighten the lower Control Arm Bushing nut (J 21474-4) until all of the bushing material is gone and you hear a distinct popping noise. To assemble the lower Control Arm Bushing system install the lower Control Arm Bushing screw (J 21474-3) through both the Control Arm Bushing receiver (J 21474-5) then into the new front bushing followed by the front lower Control Arm. Fitting the lower Control Arm Bushing receiver (J 39876) to the lower Control Arm Bushing screw (J 21474-3) should face the Control Arm with its open end exposed, while also using the half moon spacer (J 39875) for protection from distortion. Before tightening the lower Control Arm Bushing nut (J 21474-4) onto the lower Control Arm Bushing screw (J 21474-3) position the thrust washer with its seam facing the Control Arm. Ensure tool alignment then install the lower Control Arm Bushing nut (J 21474-4) onto the lower Control Arm Bushing screw (J 21474-3). First tighten the bushing until it rests flush with the Control Arm before putting the lower Control Arm back into place.
