You should begin by installing the Timing Chain onto the sprockets while maintaining proper alignment of the timing marks so you can install the chain together with both sprockets. Before final tightening, use a torque angle meter (J 36660-A) to tighten the camshaft sprocket bolt to 100 nm (74 ft. Lbs.) then further advance the bolt an additional 90 degrees. Finish your work by placing the Timing Chain dampener on the engine then secure the Timing Chain dampener bolt at 22 nm (16 ft. Lbs.).
