The replacement of the Ignition Coil begins by disconnecting the negative Battery Cable and removing the fuel rail cover. Start by disconnecting the Ignition Coil harness connector and the spark plug wire from the Ignition Coil. First take out the Ignition Coil by removing its mounting bolts. Place the new Ignition Coil in its position while you tight the Ignition Coil mounting bolts at 12 n.m (106 lb in). Secure the Ignition Coil harness bolt with a torque setting of 12 n.m (106 lb in) while placing the spark plug wire back onto the Ignition Coil. Reinstall the fuel rail cover while connecting the negative Battery Cable with a torque of 15 n.m (11 lb ft). Complete transmitter programming and activate the idle learn procedure.
