How to replace the rear wheel bearing and hub assembly on 2001 Chevrolet Impala?

Begin hub and bearing replacement by raising and supporting the vehicle before taking off both tires and wheels. Mount the vehicle safely before proceeding to detach the rear caliper and bracket then brake rotor. Disconnect the abs electrical connector from the Wheel Speed Sensor then disassemble the rear Wheel Hub and park brake assembly. Remove the bracket from the park brake lever and the park brake actuator. Begin your installation process by setting the park brake lever bracket and the park brake actuator . Install the rear Wheel Hub and park brake assembly onto the knuckle while using new rear Wheel Hub-to-knuckle bolts and setting the torque to 75 nm (55 ft. Lbs.). The Wheel Speed Sensor abs electrical connection should be reinstalled next to proceeding with the brake rotor installation followed by rear caliper and bracket installation. After completion lower the vehicle while returning the wheels and tires to their proper positions.
