  A: Starting the process to replace the front park brake cable requires removal of the left closeout/insulator panel and left carpet retainer followed by setting the carpet to the side. The installation process requires detachment of the PCM and bracket before moving to the park brake lever for access to brake cable attachment points and . Detach the park brake cable from the park brake lever before removing the carpet from the left side of the vehicle. After raising and supporting the vehicle you must take out the front cable through its connector clip and cable retainer under the body to remove it from beneath the vehicle.
