How to replace the left rear parking brake cable on Chevrolet Malibu?

A vehicle lifting procedure should come first before conducting any repairs to the left rear Parking Brake Cable. The left rear park brake cable must disconnect from equalizer and the cable must disconnect from bracket using parking brake release (J 37043). Students should initiate the job by taking off the tire with wheel while also removing brake drums before extracting brake shoes.
