Before working on the front brake caliper check the brake master cylinder reservoir fluid level. Drain fluid up to the middle point when the fluid level is above the acceptable range. Lift your vehicle to stem position before taking out the tire and wheel unit. Secure 2 opposite wheel studs by using hand to tighten wheel nuts and hold the rotor in place. Place a large c-clamp over the brake caliper and adjust the pressure to push the piston in and enable it to move beyond the brake rotor before removing the assembly. Unfasten the brake hose-caliper bolt and brake hose link while discarding any copper brake hose gaskets that stick to the parts at end. After sealing off areas prevent fluid waste and external contaminants you can remove brake caliper guide pin bolts and lift out the caliper from its bracket. Lower your vehicle first and with the engine stopped apply the Brake Pedal gently to two-thirds term then release it.
