To replace the rear wheel bearing and hub you must first lift the vehicle properly while keeping it supported then carefully detach both tire and wheel components with special attention to avoid damaging the bearing through hammering on the Brake Drum. First separate the Brake Drum then pull out the axle assembly from its position. You must first get the hub and bearing assembly partly out before removing its top rear bolt and threaded nut due to Brake Shoe interference. Disconnect the rear abs sensor wires first to take out the complete hub and bearing assembly from the vehicle. Reattach the rear abs speed sensor wire connector before mounting the new hub and bearing assembly into the axle space. Locate the top rear bolt inside the assembly before locking it in position and tightening the hub bolts to 85 newton meters. Fix the Brake Drum then put on tires and wheels before allowing the car to rest on the ground.
