You should start by turning off the ignition while also removing the air intake duct before starting the tp sensor replacement. Unplug the tp sensor electrical connection but retain it while you remove both fasteners from the sensor and detach its o-ring. To install the o-ring properly install it onto the tp sensor before you place the assembly on the Throttle Body while applying thread-locking compound from loctite(R) 262 gm p/n # 1052624 or an equivalent on the 2 fasteners. First tighten the tp sensor attaching screws to 2 n.m (18 lb in). Then reconnect the tp sensor electrical connector and end with the air intake duct reinstallation.
