How to replace the rear axle lower control arm on 2001 Chevrolet Prizm?

First, to replace the rear axle lower Control Arm, raise and support the vehicle. Dismantle the rear suspension rear lower Control Arm by removing the 2 nuts and 3 washers. Put using the paint mark on the inner rear Control Arm end, inner lock nut, rear Control Arm adjuster, outer lock nut, and outer rear Control Arm end. Remove the 2 lock nuts and detach the parts. During installation: when replacing the rear suspension rear lower Control Arm, mark the new Control Arm at the same places seen on the old one. Connect the components; match mark them and ensure that the weight of the vehicle is on the tires and wheels before tightening. Mount the rear suspension rear lower Control Arm to the rear suspension crossmember by using 3 washers, and tighten the same using 2 nuts. Drop the vehicle and take it to a drive on lift or alignment rack. Stabilize the suspension by multiple bouncing of the vehicle so as to settle it. Make sure you tighten the rear suspension Control Arm nuts and bolts to 125 nm (89 ft. Lbs), measure rear wheel alignment, and adjust it if it is needed before you take the vehicle for the rack.
