    A: The first step to replace the front Exhaust Manifold pipe includes removing the rear Exhaust Manifold pipe along with the transaxle assembly. The first step involves unbolting the two pieces connecting the left Exhaust Manifold to the front Exhaust Manifold pipe while a third bolt binds the front Exhaust Manifold pipe to the crankcase. Detach the nut holding the coil cassette ground wire to the Cylinder Head along with the bolt executed on the front Exhaust Manifold pipe to the Cylinder Head. The installation process begins with front Exhaust Manifold pipe nut detachment from the egr inlet pipe until the front Exhaust Manifold pipe and its seal can be removed from the left Exhaust Manifold. Replace the seal with a new one during the process. In addition remove the Exhaust Manifold flange retainer. You must install the retainer with a new front Exhaust Manifold pipe seal covering the left Exhaust Manifold before sliding in the front Exhaust Manifold pipe around it. Secure the front Exhaust Manifold pipe (1,3) to the engine with the bolts which require tightening to 25 nm (18 ft. Lbs.). First attach the bolt securing the coil cassette ground wire to the Cylinder Head until it reaches 17 nm (13 ft. Lbs.) and then tighten the 2 front Exhaust Manifold pipe bolts that secure it to the left Exhaust Manifold to 25 nm (18 ft. Lbs.). You should manually begin tightening the egr inlet pipe nut to the front Exhaust Manifold pipe since it prevents threading issues before completing the screwing to 60 nm (44 ft. Lbs.). Reinstall the rear Exhaust Manifold pipe and the transaxle assembly in the vehicle.
