  A: The replacement of brake pressure modulator valve (BPMV) requires getting rid of the entire brake pressure modulator valve assembly due to safety concerns that may arise from loosening any screws except for ebcm. First switch off the ignition before lifting the vehicle and taking out the left front wheel together with the left front fascia extension and front air deflector. Clean the surrounding area of the electronic brake control module (EBCM)/bpmv to stop contamination while using a wash solution to eliminate contaminants. Tighten each of the 4 wheel brake pipes and 2 master cylinder brake pipes connected to the bpmv to 15 nm (11 ft lbs). Clean the regions where the ebcm/bpmv components will mate before attaching the ebcm electrical connector to the ebcm and installing the ebcm connector position assurance. Turn down the ebcm connector tab before reattaching the left front fascia extension together with the left front wheel.
