  A: To replace the Valve Stem Oil Seal and valve spring, make sure to ensure the Piston in the working cylinder is at top dead centre (TDC) to avoid the valve going down to the cylinder. Start by loosening the Spark Plug and cleaning the Spark Plug recess area. Remove the Spark Plug and Rocker Arm then install the Spark Plug port adapter (J22794) in the Spark Plug port then blow compressed air to hold the valves in place. Thereafter, connect valve spring compressor (J38606) to the valve spring and compress it to remove the valve locks, valve cap, and valve spring. Inspect valve spring for damage and replace when necessary, then remove spring seal/valve stem oil-seal. For installation, apply a suitable driver to press the Valve Stem Oil Seal/spring seat over the valve guide boss thereafter, install valve spring and valve cap. Now use the valve spring compressor (J38606) to compress the valve spring again, and then install the valve locks, using grease if required for holding them in place. Release the valve spring and make sure the locks are sitting right before you re-install the Rocker Arm. Finally, decompress the air pressure and disconnect the Spark Plug port adapter (J22794), afterwards installing the Spark Plug.
