  A: Before working on the Valve Stem Oil Seal and valve spring you need to position the Piston at top dead center (TDC) to protect against falling valve parts. Start by loosening the Spark Plug to access its recess area and then remove the Spark Plug. Put the j 22794 (Spark Plug Port Adapter) into the Spark Plug opening while compressed air keeps the valves steady. Put the j 38606 engine tool on the valve spring and set the j 38606 into its compressed state to work on the valve spring. Pull off valve locks at the beginning and afterward remove valve cap and valve spring to inspect valve spring elements for deterioration. Take the valve stem oil spring out from its position. First insert the Valve Stem Oil Seal then the valve spring on top of it before placing the valve cap. Reposition the valve locks with grease when necessary then press the valve spring back in with the j 38606 tool before letting it go with the j 38606. Let go of the compressed air after installing the valve spring and j 22794 then detach this device from the Spark Plug port to reintroduce the Rocker Arm and Spark Plug.
