Tighten all nuts and bolts on the new trailing arm after first placing vehicle weight onto tires and wheels. Use both bolts and nuts to secure the trailing arm before reinstalling the tire assembly and lowering the vehicle. Bounce the vehicle several times to let the suspension stabilize before proceeding. Finally, tighten the trailing arm bolts and nuts to 91 Nm (67 ft. lbs.) Perform a rear wheel alignment check after securing the trailing arm bolts.
