Q: How to replace the power door window regulator on 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer?
A: The power door Window Regulator replacement process starts by removing the door trim panel alongside speaker and water deflector and continuing with the window elimination. The electrical connector should be disconnected from the regulator motor while upper bolts fastening the regulator to the door are loosened. Free the Window Regulator assembly and motor on the door by removing the remaining three bolts followed by pulling the assembly upwards to expose the upper bolts which can then be taken out while rotating the top component forward. Proceed to take off the regulator assembly through the door opening by starting with the lower segment while setting it on a ready surface until all upper 2 bolts can be taken off from the regulator assembly. To start installation position the upper 2 bolts of the regulator assembly partially before inserting the assembly into the door opening at a semi-horizontal angle then move it forward into the cavity followed by rotating it to a vertical position. Fit and lower the regulator assembly against the door sheet metal by using the previous upper two bolts while tightening them to 9 n.m (80 lb in). The bolt retaining the motor must be installed onto the door first followed by securing all other bolts holding the regulator assembly to the door frame until they reach 10 n.m (88 lb in). After connecting the electrical connector to the regulator motor users need to install the side door window along with the water deflector followed by the speaker then the door trim panel.
