Chevrolet Trailblazer Window Regulator Parts Questions & Experts Answers
Q: How to Replace the Rear Door Window Regulator on Chevrolet Trailblazer?
A: The first step to replace the rear door Window Regulator on trailblazer and envoy and bravada involves removing the door trim panel then subsequently removing the water deflector and speaker. Beginning the Window Regulator replacement process requires loosening the carrier bolts before lifting and supporting the window. First disconnect the electrical connector from the regulator motor then unscrew the 3 bolts to take out the Window Regulator assembly from the door structure. Place the Window Regulator assembly into the door unit then install the 3 retaining bolts while tightening them to 10 n.m (88 lb in). Reinstall the electrical connector to the motor of the regulator before you detach the support and guide the window down onto its carrier. After positioning the regulator window carrier bolts at a loose torque, move the window until it reaches its fullest vertical extension into run channels before torquing them to 10 n.m (88 lb in). The completion steps require reattachment of the speaker together with the water deflector and door trim panel.
