Window Regulator, Front Passenger Side

The front door Window Regulator replacement begins with taking out the front door trim panel and the front door water deflector. Detach the bolts which retain the front door window to the Window Regulator before removing the window. Disconnect the electrical connector from the Window Regulator motor when using equipment with a31. Loosen the bolts securing the Window Regulator to the inner panel at keyhole slot locations before removing the remainder of fasteners securing it to the inner panel. Position this Window Regulator above the keyhole slots in order to pull it out through its access hole. To install the front door Window Regulator push it through the access hole of the door and position it correctly by slotting the regulator bolts into keyhole slots in the inner panel. Secure the fastener which holds the Window Regulator by attaching it to the door while applying 9 n.m (80 lb in) of tightness. The installation of electrical connector to Window Regulator motor should be made when a31 is installed. Secure the front door window to the regulator through its bolts while tightening them until reaching 9 n.m (80 lb in). To complete the repair place back the front door water deflector and front door trim panel.

Tighten the regulator window carrier bolts to 10 N.m (88 lb in).

Begin by removing the door trim panel, water deflector, and speaker.

Insert the nuts into the keyhole slots and tighten them to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

Loosen the regulator window carrier bolts, raise and support the window, and disconnect the electrical connector from the regulator motor.

Lower and hang the regulator assembly onto the door sheet metal using the previously installed upper 2 bolts, ensuring to tighten them to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

Ensure it stays in the run channels before tightening the bolts.

Insert the regulator assembly back into the end gate through the access hole and connect the electrical connector to the window regulator.

Remove the regulator assembly through the door opening, place it on a prepared surface, and remove the upper 2 bolts from the assembly.

Install the bolt retaining the motor to the door and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in), then install the remaining bolts retaining the regulator assembly to the door and tighten to 10 N.m (88 lb in).

Lower and hang the regulator assembly onto the door sheet metal using the upper 2 bolts.

Reinstall the speaker, water deflector, and door trim panel.

Remove it through the door opening and place it on a prepared surface.

Install the water deflector, speaker, and door trim panel.
