How to replace the wiper arm on 2003 Buick Century?

Start your Wiper Arm replacement with the Wiper Arm puller (J 39822) tool at hand. Turn the engine on then set the Wiper Switch to delay. When the wipers stop at their working position you should switch off the ignition. Take off the washer hose from the Wiper Arm followed by the Wiper Arm nut cover and Wiper Arm nut. A Wiper Arm puller tool (J 39822) allows you to disconnect the Wiper Arm from the wiper transmission. Place the wiper arms onto the wiper transmission but keep the right arm 97-107 mm and the left arm 125-147 mm from the named reference points. Secure the Wiper Arm nut to 30 n.m (22 lb ft) and replace the wiper parts by reattaching the washer hose. Turn the windshield wipers on to make sure the system is functioning correctly.
