The installation begins with removal of the park brake cable guide nut from its mounting stud then the park brake cable guide bolt from the floor pan before finally extracting the park cable guides. The procedure ends with the intermediate cable disconnection from both the rear equalizer and the right rear park brake cable connector as well as separation of the intermediate cable housing from the rear cable housing retaining bracket after unlocking its retainer.
