Testing begins with alignment of the actuator by rotating its inner shaft first. Secure alignment when necessary by rotating the shafts slightly backwards but avoid unnecessary force. To fine-tune the cams connect the electrical connector to the actuator while holding it away from the shafts, switch the ignition to on to enter automatic re-calibration mode, monitor the cams' movement before turning the ignition off to achieve alignment with the temperature door shafts. Test fit the temperature actuator a second time while redoing the cam adjustment if required. Secure the hvac module with retaining screws at 1.4 n.m (12 lb in). Reconnect the electrical connector to the air temperature actuator assembly then install the ip storage compartment before performing actuator recalibration.
