Put the J 25070 Heat Gun (J 25070) to heat the emblem/nameplate through circular motions for 30 seconds. Unstick the panel emblem/nameplate area through gentle scraping with a plastic tool. Use 3M(TM) Scotch Brite molding adhesive remover or equivalent disks for body panels but 50/50 isopropyl alcohol and water mixture with a lint-free cloth for plastic panels. Also, Varnish Makers and Painters (VMP) naphtha. Make sure to work in a clean and dry area before you position the tape and place marks for the Le Sabre quarter panel nameplate installation. Use the J 25070 Heat Gun (J 25070) to heat the installation surface while maintaining a temperature range of 27-41°C (80-105°F) and keep the emblem/nameplate at 29-32°C (85-90°F). Stick the emblem/nameplate by removing its protective backing while keeping the adhesive dry. Then place it at the correct marks in the chosen spot before flattening it evenly with equal pressure. To complete mounting the part remove its protective tape.
