How to replace the brake master cylinder on 2004 Cadillac CTS?

To start removing the Brake Master Cylinder you must disconnect both electrical and pipe connections before adding a rubber cap. Keep brakes working correctly by adding rubber plugs to brake pipe ends when they become exposed. Disconnect the master cylinder from vehicle by loosening its 2 mounting nuts. When resusing the reservoir normalize it from the master cylinder. To install the brake line system attach the Brake Master Cylinder reservoir to its base before performing a bench bleed of the master cylinder. Place the master cylinder onto the vacuum Brake Booster and fix it with its 2 mounting nuts. Tighten the nuts to 25 nm (18 ft. Lbs.). Install the brake pipes correctly onto the master cylinder while tightening both fittings to 38 nm. Reattach the electrical connector to the brake fluid sensor before performing hydraulic brake system bleeding.
