How to replace the EGR valve on 2004 Cadillac DeVille?

In order to fit an EGR valve, you have to disconnect the electrical connector, loosen the heat shield and its nuts, and then loosen the EGR valve retaining nuts/bolts. Check and clean up EGR passages where necessary. Wipe the mount, replace a new gasket and EGR valve, and reconnect electrical connector.
