How to replace the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) on 2004 Cadillac Seville?

Raise the vehicle and disconnect the bolts that hold the front transaxle brace to the transaxle and right Cylinder Head (1, 3). You need to first detach the electrical connector from the speed sensor. Afterward remove the bolt retaining piece 131 to extract both the sensor and bolt 130 by twisting and pulling the sensor outward. Reinstall the vss sensor (130) with bolt (131) afterward applying a new o-ring seal if required and torque bolt to 10 nm. Reassemble the electrical sensor connector then boldly secure the front transaxle brace to its mounting positions on the transaxle and right Cylinder Head before putting down the vehicle.
