  A: When dealing with the wiring harness connector to change the ABS Control Module (ABSCM) ensure the ignition switch remains set to OFF due to the prevention of ABSCM/EBTCM harm. First you must clean the ABSCM space which extends to the Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (BPMV). Unfasten the electrical Connector Position Assurance (CPA) locking tab which connects to the sliding cover lock tab after pressing down the lock tab to enable slidable connector opening.
