  A: Starting with HVAC Control Module replacement requires removal of the i/p accessory trim plate afterwards followed by unfastening screws securing the HVAC Control Module. Before extraction remove the HVAC Control Module from its position at the i/p center support bracket while also disconnecting its electrical connection. Insert the HVAC Control Module into its vehicle position and join all electrical connections while keeping the key turned off so that calibration can occur properly. You must install the HVAC Control Module onto the i/p center support bracket and tighten its retaining screws to 1.9 n.m (17 lb in). After engine start-up run the system for a minimum of one minute with no hvac control adjustments during self-calibration to prevent hvac problems.
