  A: The underhood electrical center or junction block will need new installation by initially disconnecting both negative and positive battery cables from underhood Fuse block terminals. The tape must be gently removed from the wiring harness base and you need to use a small flat-bladed tool to release the underhood Fuse block(s) clip retainers. Detach all Fuse block(s) and wiring harness from the base while you remove the nuts that hold the underhood Fuse block base to its shock tower position. A small flat-bladed tool will help you remove underhood Fuse block front terminal positive assurance retainers as well as plastic shields from Battery Cable and buss bar terminals. The wiring harness must receive new tape at its base before putting the underhood Fuse block base against the shock tower and installing nuts while tightening these to 9 n.m (80 lb in). The procedure ends with attaching positive battery cables to underhood Fuse block components before tightening nuts to 15 n.m (11 lb ft). The negative Battery Cable will also get reinstalled afterwards.
