    Q:
How to replace the left instrument panel fuse box on Chevrolet Impala? Posted by Customer
    A:
The first step to replace the left instrument panel electrical center or Fuse Box consists of disconnecting the negative Battery Cable. Begin by taking off the left i/p Fuse Box access hole cover then disconnect c2 outboard wiring harness connector from the Fuse Box. The first step involves removing the connector position assurance from the yellow inflatable restraint connector before disconnecting and repositioning the yellow inflatable restraint connector to access the bolts. Steering column fillers and i/p driver knee bolsters need to be taken off before proceeding. The Fuse Box requires disconnecting its inner wiring harness connector then removing all Fuse Box bolts. Aybo remove the Fuse Box from the slot in the cross vehicle beam before pulling it away from the i/p. To install the Fuse Box position its tab inside the cross vehicle beam slot and secure Fuse Box bolts at 10 n.m (89 lb in). After connecting the yellow inflatable restraint connector to the Fuse Box use a torque wrench to tighten its bolt to 7 n.m (62 lb in). Put back the i/p driver knee bolster together with the steering column filler. First connect the yellow inflatable restraint connector then install the cpa before attaching the connector to the Fuse Box. The process ends with connecting outboard wiring harness connector c2 to the Fuse Box while tightening its bolt to 7 n.m (62 lb in). Afterward, install left i/p Fuse Box access hole cover and return the negative Battery Cable.
