How to replace the Battery Fuse on the Positive Cable with a single battery on Chevrolet Silverado 1500? Posted by Customer
    A:
The first step for changing the battery positive cable Fuse with a single battery begins with disconnecting the negative Battery Cable followed by removing the Fuse cover. Start by removing the starter solenoid cable nut followed by detaching its terminal from the Fuse stud and disconnecting the generator battery jumper cable to Fuse nut with its terminal removed. After disconnecting the positive Battery Cable terminal from the Fuse stud you should remove the Fuse from the holder. To reassemble the device start by putting the Fuse into the holder. Then join the positive Battery Cable terminal to the Fuse stud followed by the generator battery jumper cable terminal. Securely tighten the generator battery jumper cable to Fuse nut until it reaches 9 n.m (80 lb in). The starter solenoid cable terminal needs to be installed while fastening it down with a starter solenoid cable nut which must be tightened to 9 n.m (80 lb in). To finish the procedure replace both the Fuse cover followed by reattaching the negative Battery Cable.
