Start your work by using a hoist to lift the vehicle before unclipping the electrical wires. Start by disconnecting and removing the output speed sensor stud then extract the output speed sensor from the transaxle case for O-ring inspection to determine if replacement is needed. You must first remove the O-ring from the output speed sensor before adding a new O-ring to this same sensor component and repositioning it inside the transaxle case. Install the output speed sensor stud and tighten it to 11 Nm (8 ft. lbs.)Complete the repair by reconnecting the electrical connector followed by vehicle lowering.
