  A: Start the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor replacement process by recording preset radio stations and turning off the ignition before you remove the negative Battery Cable. Position the vehicle in a solid support that ensures the vehicle remains stable to prevent injuries. Start by supporting the vehicle then unscrew the 2 nuts securing the Starter solenoid harness connector followed by removing engine block bolts from the upper and lower regions of the Starter assembly. Put the Starter to your right to free it from blocking the engine block on your way left to remove it from the flywheel housing. Begin by unconnecting the ckp sensor harness connector. Remove the bolt that attaches the ckp sensor before removing the sensor itself. Before sensor installation apply clean engine oil to the o-ring and position the sensor within the engine block using a 10 n.m (89 lb in) torque setting on the attachment bolt. The ckp sensor harness connector needs to connect for a click sound before confirming connector engagement. The Starter must be placed inside the flywheel housing and bolt holes need realignment before tightening the engine block bolts to 40 n.m (30 lb ft). After reconnecting the Starter solenoid harness connections secure the nuts and tightness the large nuts to 9 n.m (80 lb in) and the small nuts to 3 n.m (27 lb in). After lower vehicle position check the Battery Cable reconnection and tighten terminal bolts to 17 n.m (13 lb ft). Clock reset shows previously saved radio stations.
