How to replace the lower fan shroud on 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 2500?

The first step for replacing the lower Fan Shroud requires fanshaft removal from the cooling system. The lower Fan Shroud requires an Engine Oil Cooler hose clip removal from its position on the lower Fan Shroud. Before installation you must lift the lower Fan Shroud that it becomes detached from its retaining clips on the Radiator. Set the lower Fan Shroud into the Radiator retaining clips before securing it with strong downward pressure. The installation process ends with reattaching the oil cooler hose clip to the lower Fan Shroud followed by reinstallation of the cooling fan.
