How to replace the rear sway bar link on 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

The first step to replace the rear sway bar link requires raising and supporting the vehicle. The sway bar link retaining nuts must be removed while avoiding any contact on the sway bar link which can damage the sway bar link boot since the hidden damage will affect the link. Next disconnect and remove both the sway bar link from the frame and sway bar. Follow the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions as you establish the connection between the sway bar link and both sway bar and frame. After installing the sway bar link retaining nuts to 100 Nm (74 ft. lbs.) torque ensure to lower the vehicle.
